Video games may be cheaper this day because big sales tend to be earlier to draw in more customers.
Monday is also car shopping day: Coming off of a less than impressive weekend, any sales they can get to temper their unimpressive performance are gladly taken but sometimes the opposite is true. If the dealership had a big sale and the results were impressive, they may be more likely to make the same deals to people they met over the weekend. However; the Tuesday rule has limitations. If you book too late - within 14 days - or if you book too early - more than 5 months in advance - you will pay a premium. Between three and four weeks in advance of your trip is ideal for booking flights within the US.
