Planning your Blog - Haaaay Regina!

I've been sitting here for quite some time trying to figure out what to write about for you this morning. I need to get my EPIC BLOG Planner by Regina A. I have the book and it is awesome. So awesome, in fact, that I haven't written in it yet and Ive had it for over a year. I only want to write awesome things in it, I couldn't decide which blog to use it for, and my blogs basically have been on the back burner for the past year.

But I digress.

I guess this post is a shout out to the Amazing Regina. If you have a blog with no focus, you need her book. Like, yesterday.

How to Refill your Swiffer Wet Jet

If you have a Swiffer Wet Jet (which you should ... totally worth the initial investment ... even better if purchased with a coupon!) I'm sure your frugal self might have tried to put your own cleaning solution into the swiffer bottle. But it won't open! Agh! They really want us to spend the big bucks for their specific refills. Well, you can now refill your swiffer bottle and save a lot of money! thanks, ehow!

    • 1
Fill a bowl or sink with very hot water
    • 2
Immerse the Swiffer bottle and cap in the hot water for about a minute. This softens the plastic enough so the cap can be removed easily.
    • 3
Wrap the dishtowel around the cap of the bottle to get a good grip and twist hard. The cap should come right off.
    • 4
Clean the bottle thoroughly to remove the Swiffer solution, which may not be compatible with your cleaning solution.
    • 5
Fill the Swiffer bottle 3/4 full with hot water. Add 2-3 tbsp of your favorite floor cleaner. Vinegar or a small amount of dish soap will also work. Replace cap and shake bottle gently to combine. Add essential oil to customize your floor cleaner's scent.
