I have three of my own personal tales of Awesome Shopping that are going into my new book and I wanted to share them with you beforehand.
1. Kohl's used to have a sign up program where if you signed up for their email newsletter, you would receive a $10 off $10 purchase coupon in your email. There were even people selling these on ebay, my roommate and I got SO MUCH stuff for free. Make a purchase for $10 or less and it's free. Purchase something a little more than $10 and only pay a few bucks for it. We mostly got jewelry and accessories, sandals, a few tank tops, etc.
I don't know if they still offer this, but check it out next time you are in Kohl's......it was AWESOME!
2. JC PENNEY'S CHRISTMAS BUTTON PROGRAM (2012) - When you shopped there, you got a button (pin for your shirt) with a tiny little code on the back. You would go online and enter the code, and you'd win $10 off $10 purchase, we got tons of $10 off, $5 off, $20 off, and we even won a $50 gift cert one time! (this was my mom and I) It was so much fun! I racked up so much stuff that Christmas. To my knowledge they have not done this program since.
3. Publix's CLEARANCE TABLE - I don't know about your Publix, but mine puts out Nexxus
hair products at 1/3 the price. I've also gotten Febreze
(bought with a coupon, of course!)
